ball recomendations?
Thanks to TGM, I'm starting to hit the ball really solid and am getting a lot of spin and sizzle. While this is great, I've been using some higher spinning balls that are balooning just a little bit in the wind, and it's hurting my distance control. Do any of you have suggestions on balls you've used in windy conditions?

In windy conditions, the Hogan Apex Tour, Hogan Hawk and Callaway HX Tour have worked well for me.

All of the new 3 piece premium balls are so similar its ridiculous....you'll eventually end up with a similar ball off the tee but ultimately the decision will be made from around the greens.
Pro V1X
MaxFli Black Max
Bridgestone B330
Nike ONE Black (possibly new Platinum thats coming out in may)
HX Tour
HX Tour 56 proto that is scheduled for sometime in june i think
These are all firm balls that are low spin that work well with the irons and driver. You'll end up deciding on which ball with around the green performance.

I play in the wind a lot and the Callaway HX Tour is the best premium wind ball without any doubt. I have not tried the Maxfli Black Max yet.

The best wind ball i've ever seen is the Nike One TW version they released to the public.
Its insane...played it side by side with the B330 and I've always read Tiger likes low launching high spinning balls and is this that and more!
My full swing shots were like my normal stingers, it was crazy and yet it was still going just as far as the B330

An excellent list IMO
The HX Tour is one of the best out there right now IMO, and I've always been a big fan of the Apex Tour, played it all last season. The Hawk doesn't have quite the control of the other two, but for the price difference it is one of the best.
