Who's going to St Andrews?

I'll be there thursday + friday. I am going with a good friend who is yet TGM-unaware, but I am sure he'd at least agree that there is no way to hold a glass of beer unless the right wrist is bent.

Let me know if you are there TH or FR and we might at least be able to organize to have a beer. We might also want to find a good place to hang out Wednesday evening. Or a suitable place to meet up on the course.

Even though I have seen a couple of majors before my local knowledge about St Andrews is zero, so any hints about how to get the most out of it is of interest. Be it during tournament days or good places to hang out in the evenings.

There MUST be a place in the area where a bunch of Open addicts gather in the evening.

Actually my buddy lived in Copenhagen a few years & is married to a danish woman & I am ok understanding & talking danish myself. Especially after a couple beers.

Friday will actually not be our big night out since we'll drive up to Aberdeen at some point after end game, but we might be able to hook up for a beer during play Friday. As I said I have no idea what the premises are like and suitable spots to meet up. I'll PM my mobile number. If you PM yours back I'll send you an SMS Thursday night indicating a spot and a time where we'll be bending our right wrists Friday daytime.
