Swing Setter
Ledbetter has a training aid called the Swing Setter. For me, this is one best tools I've ever picked up.

It has two magnetic balls that come apart and click during the swing. One of the balls clicks when your wrists set - the other clicks when the club is released. The magnetic settings are adjustable which allows for different tempos and club loading points.

It seems most useful for swinging.

I have been reading about this aid with interest for a while. It looks good in theory but I wasn't too sure about the actual practical application of the tool.
Sometimes, I wish I could try it out somewhere before splashing the cash for one only to find out it doesn't work.
Thanks for the quick review. How did you find it for getting the swing on the correct plane?
Alex

good
It has a little rod the pulls out and extends out of the butt of the club - it is a coupld of feet long and help for pointing at the plane line.

Looked at it. Did not buy since it does not provide FLW feedback (hinge action and clubface control). I feel ball and club plus Tac-Tic does a better job. And then there's the Impact Bag...

Don't waste your time
I have impact bag, Tac Tic, Swingsetter, Medicus (5 iron and driver), weighted club and a few others. The ones that worked......impact bag and tac tic (expensive but it works).

I had the swingsetter and it works to show you where the plane line is and where you have the most CF but you have to set your wrists way too early for me. The device requires you set your wrist cock when you left arm is parallel and it must be done with enough force to make the ball click. Then on the downswing, you try to get both balls to click in the impact zone.

The early set of wrists messed up my game and through off my timing. Fun gimmick but I didn't get anything from it other than the pointer that helps ID the plane line.

If the early wrist cock had not been a problem would you have considered this a good training aid?

Swing Setter
With a quick set of the wrist one must be using a pivot controled hands which I thought was more a Hitting Motion.

Sweep it with both

No...you can use sweep loading with both procedures...with hitting you can only use sweep and random loading not snap loading. Why? With snap loading you need an "End Assembly Point"...for a full stroke with or without an extensor action takeaway, the stroke ends at a "Top Assembly Position".

Sorry for the Delay
I sure don't recommend it because of the early wrist cock which I don't like. It also forces you to cock your wrists kind of violently which feels unnatural to me. The only other benefit is that it tells you about your speed in the impact zone (balls fly out and clack). I get the same effect using a device called the swing rite (original) and you can adjust it so you can build up speed at the impact zone so I would recommend that device over the swing setter.
