I'm glad that you've set up your own site. I feel as though I know you, given all the posts I've read about you on 4GEA.com and the other sites and because I've had a 4 hour session with Ted Forte in Marietta. I found Ted to be very personable and his instruction was excellent. Obviously, in a 4 hour session, it is impossible to have full knowledge of TGM, but I was able to work on the fundamentals and, at my request, it was done in layman's language. I'm excited about ingraining the principles I've learned, but will not be able to do so until the weather cooperates and I'm able to either go to the range or play more.
As to my progress thus far, I have finally gotten away from the slice that has been plaguing me for many years. I feel more comfortable when I get up to hit the driver especially, as that's the club that I've been able to work most on. My results with the irons and my fairway woods have not been as good, as I've had a tendency to hit the ball flat. I'm thinking that this is due to not flexing my right knee (I'm right-handed) through the swing or because I've just not had the opportunity to work on the fundamentals enough to rid myself of the problem. At any rate, I can see improvement and logic in the things I'm doing and am excited about the upcoming year of golf.
I look forward to visiting with Ted again for a follow-up lesson and possibly being able to work with you if there is any availability.
Congratulations on your web site and thanks for the information that you've imparted to all of us who are now TGMers.
