Plane
Question....

Does it matter how steep the plane of your swing is-------as long as it remains on plane ??

I have noticed the better golfers have a plane angle between their head and backside.

Mine however is around my neck.

That steep the face will have a tendency to close fast and the club will come into the ball low to the ground (sweepy).

Less up and more in on the backswing, less down and more out on the downswing (that doesn't mean you shouldn't hit down).

Pick a flatter plane...then tell your hands to go there! A worthwhile exercise is to take your hands to where you would like them to be at top/end (select from the 5 plane angles HK identified) , check it out in a mirror (side and front view) Draw a circle with a dry erase marker where your hands are supposed to be. Then take your hands to that circle again...and again...and again! Much like your hands are not likely to miss the door knob exiting or entering a room...your hands will know what to do! Your pivot throwing your hands around is a complicated mess...putting the ten digits to work simplifies everything.
