1. "Take a 'short' grip on a club. Run the shaft up your left forearm and swing back and through until you've learned to keep the club steady and the wrist flat." 22 29.73%
2. "You bend your wrist because you 'throw' the club past the hands. You must learn to eliminate any horizontal wrist motion. Practice short chip shots using only vertical and rotational motions." 11 14.86%
3. "You can only practice keeping the wrist flat using a non-automatic release. Get a crystal clear picture of your wrist being flat when your hands get over the left toe, and make it your primary swing thought. Don't worry about the 'how'." 4 5.41%
4. "You can't keep your left wrist flat unless you have rhythm. And the best way to learn rhythm is to practice short chip shots using each of the three hinge actions." 15 20.27%
5. "Look at it. Just watch the damn thing. I don't know of any other way...because your hands will lie to you." 22 29.73%

In a 1981 G.S.E.M. (Master, Golf Stroke Engineering) Authorized Instructor training class, Homer Kelley was asked the following question:

"Is there something we can do -- in practice -- to help keep the Left Wrist Flat?"

I have yet to be right on any of the polls.

But after listening to an audio tape of Homer about a zillion times, I can hear him say that very thing on number five.

FLAT LEFT WRIST
Well, nobody seemed to like #3 so I went for it. It seems to make sense to me, but I have a lot to learn.

no.1 - just like the imperitive....
I went for no.1 - its a sure visual aid to keeping the left flying wedge intact....
