Building a Better Game
Hello there everyone. I'm a long time lurker, and finally decided to get in on the action. Being in the Pacific Northwest, consistent weather is not something I'm familiar with, so I'd like to be able to stay on my game while my rain gear is drying by the fireplace. I was hoping to find some help here as to how to build a hinge apparatus like the one Yoda uses in his videos (absolutely wonderful videos by the way) as well as a Golfer's Flail similar to the one Yoda used in a video on ICT's thread I believe. I'm also in the process of building an adjustable plane to take out to the range. I can see how they're used, and they make sense in my mind, but to have them at hand would benefit me the most I believe. Thanks again for the insight, and keep up all the wonderful work on here. My game has grown in leaps and bounds since this site has become part of my daily routine.

Thanks Air. I've checked out that thread before, but have had trouble finding all of those materials (not the most helpful or knowledgeable customer service people ) at my local Home Depot, so I was wondering if there were any other ways to make one, or if there were pics up of one so I can take the picture to the store and find the parts myself

Hi NC! PLEASE make sure your grip is correctly under the heel pad of your front had as shown in Hogan's Five Lessons. That is crucial. Hands are Mid-Body with a Bent Left Wrist and Straight Right Wrist. Turn fully but turn beneath yourself freely so that you stay balanced over the ball! Lag the club back with your turn! Your head must be like a firm post that your Golfer's Flail will fire past overtaking your front arm.
NC, use the search function on this forum to find the MacDonald Drills and do them BUT GO SEE LYNN FOR LESSONS OR SOMEONE HE RECOMMENDS NEAR YOU!!! You can do it!

Walking the Road Less Travelled
Hey there InnerCity, I appreciate the input. I only recently (yesterday's range session ) switched to Mid-Body Hands at Address from what would probably be some sort of psuedo-Impact Hands Address alignment. Being at address with a Flat Right Wrist and Bent Left Wrist almost immediately set me up with more Lag coming into the ball. Those MacDonald Drills and Basic Motion were a godsend for my game. I've gotten a couple remarks from other golfers at the range that I'm wasting balls hitting fifteen-yard chips, but they quiet down when they hear the impact I make when I'm into Total Motion on my second bucket It's almost bewildering to me as to why more people aren't on board with TGM after I've seen it improve my game vastly. I'm going back to school in the fall to go into the PGA Management Program , so visiting Yoda is definitely part of my two-year plan

I have to believe that the golfers telling you that you are wasting your time hitting chip shots are at the range trying to perfect a position golf full swing like they see every month in the magazines. They don't understand what alignment golf can do and I bet they are even more puzzled by the sound and flight of your full shots and wonder why they cannot duplicate them.

Ain't that the truth I had one of my better ballstriking days (and luckily shot Even for nine holes because of it ) I was playing with one of my usual playing partners, and after seeing my game improve so dramatically thanks to TGM and all the great people here at LBG over the last couple years, he may finally decide to become a convert to Alignment Golf over Position Golf
