I purchased the little yellow book last July and was immediately hooked. I found it facinating but difficult to understand. I started reading Chuck's forum and bought his E book and the fog started to lift. I have probably read every word on TGM on the internet and have spent a lot of time with the dowels, flashlights, and lasers. I began to realize that I had better results with hitting than swinging and by the end of the season, I was hitting the ball better than I ever have.
I have played this game for 25+ years and an a fairly good "student" of the game. I have a good collection of golf instruction books and have tried most of the methods, short of Natural Golf. While I had some success during the honeymoon period, they all failed to provide lasting success. I was able at one time to get my index down to 8.0, but it was probably in spite of instruction rather than because of it.
For the first time, I now feel like I know what it is that I want to do, and why I want to do it. Now, if I can only figure out how to putt better!
So, congratulations Yoda on your new site. I have been looking forward to it with great anticipation and look forward to seeing the video links, etc. Thanks for lifting the fog!!
Thanks, Butch. It's guys like you that keeps guys like us motivated to deliver The Real Deal. We'll keep 'informing and explaining' and you just keep 'absorbing and applying.' We'll meet in The Middle -- where The Magic happens!
Meanwhile, always remember that this is a journey to be enjoyed for its own sake and not just for the 'pot of gold' at Rainbow's End. Thanks again for hitching your wagon to our star.
