Overrolling and above plane on the backswing, SOLUTION?
So far I have only been able to correct swinging under plane on the backswing by cocking my wrists straight up as I start my arms back, thus double-cocking. I don't consider this a valid option because I have a difficult time maintaining a FLW through impact with full swings. I am wondering what drills and especially mechanical changes anyone would suggest. Any and all advice is most appreciated, I know there are a lot of people with this problem. I want to kill this rattlesnake once and for all.

Since I have such a late wrist set with this overroll I was curious how one can develop an earlier set without double-cocking. Bend the right wrist back before the arms move all that much?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)
