This plane idea is very good !
I think there was something called the path pro.
But, I think this idea is very good compared to the plane board ya? to train a single shift ...

There is a guy who came up with what he called the 'mastergroover' which is similar, even had Gary Player demo it or something.
His site name was the same as his thing. Might give you some ideas
The pro that works with P. Creamer I believe uses something very simliar or maybe that was Morgan P. Heck my memory is fading....fading fast.

I tried one of these years ago, didn't give much weight to it tho. That was before I discovered TGM.
Now it appears to me to be a viable alternative to a full plane board, although I see a limitation wrt the shaft lying flat on the inclined plane i.e. it can pivot at the tether attachment point on the shaft.

Martin Hall demonstrated this in one of his TGC shows with Pressel.
It is a good approach IF it is setup properly. The problem is that it is easy to setup in a way that is less than ideal, depending on the angles.
