Hello Lynn, I want you to know I shot the easiest 74 in my life this morning. I played Eagle Watch from the tips. Driver and 3 wood were surprisingly good, (hit every fairway). I missed about 3 or 4 iron shots that cost me, but all and all, it was a blast. The biggest difference is the confidence of knowing I have something that mechanically is sound proof, all I have to do is execute. Thank you for the improvement. See you soon.
Thanks, Greg, for being such a wonderful student. And . . . such a solid booster!
This just in . . . Thanks, Okie. Everyone here at LBG appreciates your comments!
Dear Lynn,
I wanted to drop a line in order to thank you for wonderful resource that we have in your website. I may have mentioned that I coach a high school golf team, and we are not blessed with any elite high school players. What I am blessed with is good Christian kids with wonderful work ethics and an evergrowing knowledge of their own stroke patterns. We qualified for the 2A HS state tournament here in Oklahoma, a feat that I would have said was impossible at the beginning of the season. We finished at the bottom of the pile in the tournament proper, but our presence was a true victory earned.
As I have mentioned before, I was an OK college player but a horrible golf coach! I opted not to go into the club pro world because I felt that I did not have the expertise to be a real professional. This feeling of inadequate golf knowledge led me to The Golfing Machine and to you. I am still not in any way proficient and far from well versed, but I am committed to keep learning from Mr. Kelley. I can say without fear of embellishment that my life has been "added to" by the yellow book and what you do here. There are some things that we have just gotta know, right?
So, thank for helping to make the little known golf season of five Oklahoma teens and their coach a special one!
Over the last several years I've read Homer Kelly's book a few times, and seen and read a good deal of Chuck Evan's instruction, but it wasn't until I studied Mr. Blakes videos, and many of the fine threads on this forum, that I was finally able to grasp, and apply, some of the key concepts of TGM.
My head, and my hands have received quite an education. Thanks much!

Thank you for telling us, Andy. It makes us happy to hear it!
Love to get these letters . . . Congratulations, Javier, to both you and Anders!

During that year, 2006, I started to implement the tgm-knowledge I gained at this site and through the book in my teaching, especially to good players and juniors at my club.
I spent more time with one junior, Anders Larson, since he was keen on learning more. He started to learn a little of the terminology and the concepts. During -07 he went down in hcp without really playing any good. Last fall we made a plan that the coming winter, the only thing of importance was alignements, imperatives, good mechanics.
His High School Golf teacher commented to him that he was to fixated with technique and that it would hurt his touch/feel...... My student answered "I am training on my mechanics which will produce the right feelings for me, which is what I will take out to the course! "
This season was about producing results/scoring, and that he has done. Started the season at -0,9 he has now +1,4. And I don´t think it will stop.
Well, a couple of hours ago I received a call from Anders.
In a field with the best amateurs in Sweden and with 6 wildcards on play, he had qualified for our event on the European Tour, the SAS Masters that will be played 14 - 17 of august.
I am as proud as his father and in my celebration I came to think of you.
