Round 4
Looks like a Low Scoring Day. I predict -6 to win.

16-35 hrs in UK...and -6 was a bit optimistic...I think a bit more wind than we originally thought...

maybe -2 or -3 will be enough.

This guy is worth looking at - about 120 yard pitch...

Yep, I think you're right. -3. And Tom is holding up pretty well.

Nice stuff again Golfbulldog. I see hitters alignments here although Daryl will probably claim otherwise.....he stops at Top, Sweep Release, Punch Elbow. Its interesting that a teacher hasnt taken all these alignments away given the modern world of Swingercentric instruction. Maybe he doesnt work with anyone or read golf magazines.

Im guessing that Lynn would try to get him to be a little less "wooden" while staying within the Hitters 12-1-0 model. Although Lynn would no doubt experiment with some Swinger type things, Lagging Takeaway perhaps, if only to differentiate the two models, their alignments, their feels. I do believe Lynn would refine his motion by freeing up his right hip in startup and get rid of the double anchor knee motion through the ball. Basically all the things Lynn is working on with me, if you are wondering where Im coming from here.

"Hitters dont necessarily have to be wooden" says Mr Blake. I do strongly concur but to each their own, of course. What ever gets you through the night...........is all right.....

Me, Im really loving 12-1-0 with Float Loading and rope like wrists right now.

P.S. Chris Wood is right there at the top of the leaderboard, the Open is within his reach as I write this.

I agree. From Cocking the Elbow during the Take-Away, Loading the Primary Lever, and maintaining those alignments until release, Angled Hinge, etc. sure looks like hitting.

I watched his release many times to try to determine if he is in fact using Right Arm Thrust through Release like a Hitter. ?? The only thing I can see is that he uses Pivot, #4 through impact.

Bit disrespectful to Mr Cink, don't you reckon.

Only two guys got to go to the table and the one that birdied the first play off hole was the one who got to eat.

Tough on Tom but no one gave the Claret Jug to Cink - he earned it.

Looks like mixed components but then again there are few who purely hit or swing.

Agreed few purely hit or swing. But who actively thrusts?

Im thinking Tom Watson does despite his otherwise Swinger like alignments. He goes to End for instance, which all the announcers marveled at...... but that active right arm was evident as was his sweep release and punch elbow. He was thrusting to my eye. So much for the short life span of the Hitter, although Tom isn't as "wooden" a hitter as some which may make for a different shelf life.
