This winter I started looking into TGM a bit & preparing to adopt a few things. Since season started a week back I have been hitting hundreds of pitches with a Tac-Tic & focusing on three things:
- Pivot
- Float loading
- Monitoring of #3PP
It has given me completely new and very nice sensations, but I'll leave that for now.
Yesterday odd things happened. From my standard spot on the practice green I usually hole 0 or 1 chipshots out of 20. Yesterday I holed 3 & lipped out one. That has NEVER happened.
Then I went to the practice range. It was getting dark, but I decided to hit a bucket of pitches to a flagpole 80 yards away. I could barely see the flag.
I hit 1, 2 and 3 & could tell they all came off the club straighter than ever before. A bit amazed I started to talk quitely to myself: - You see. Hit this way and they come off dead straight.
Fourth ball on its way.
<CLANG>
Out there in the dark the ball hit the dead center of the stick.
I can't remember I've ever hit any flagstick on that range.
