Faxon said "best swing he ever saw"
I did a RIPGA kids short game clinic today with Brad Faxon at Button Hole in Providence, RI. I asked him about working with Ron Gring GSED. While he said he hasn't worked with him in a while, he stills stays in contact with him. Faxon also said that Ron has "the best swing he ever saw" and is a tremendous ball striker.
He asked me about the different levels of A.I.'s and who I thought were the best. I said you don't have to look any futher than Lynn Blake and Brian Manzella (also threw Ben Doyle's name in the ring).

Ron spoke of Faxon in his old magazine column often and Faxon appeared on TGCAL and talked about the work he was doing with Gring. I'm not sure if Ron was there with him.

Both appeared on TGCAL together. Gring was able to impersonate Faxon's faults (one of the things he really like about Gring). IMO, Brad seemed to hit the ball better under the watchful eye of Gring than Jim McLean.
To watch a two time Ryder Cupper (11 world-wide wins, 7 PGA Tour wins), one of the best putter on tour is pretty special. He can really putt.

I actually owe Brad Faxon a large 'thank you." Several years ago , while being interviewed after a tournament, he mentioned Ron Gring and The Golfing Machine. I did a search on the internet, bought the book, and the rest is history. So, thank you Brad ! Stay healthy folks, Dr Dave

That's a story to keep for the ages. =D>
Drew, I thought I saw Ron with him. Thanks for the fill in.
The one thing that Faxon said that I won't forget was that the mention of TGM scared away many pros. This was the same thing Don Shaw told me.
I'm always rooting for TGM guys on tour.
