Homer, Yoda, Luke, the initials G.O.L.F(ort). were all considered. Wendy and I had two names picked, one of which was naming him after me and my dad. She wanted to see what he looked like before we decided. She told me later that she'd decided that if he truly looked like my clone, there'd be no doubt as to his name. He has dark hair, long legs, my feet, my hands, my nose, and there's no doubt he's a hitter. We're going to call him Trey as a nickname, so three people don't turn their heads when someone says "Ted!"
I appreciate all of the encouragement. I've got a pic of his first golf lesson that I'll have to share with you. His first words were, "swinging's for sissies." No offense to you drag loaders...
