It was look, look, look that got me doing this and its been a lot of work to get rid of it (still ongoing). The trouble is it can lead to swaying if taken too far. Like any habbit to take it away you have to replace it with something else. Eg: feeling of turning the head to the left on the backswing rather than the right.

Anyone else had any experience of curing this.

Yes,something similar.
I turn my head in an attempt to make a "full" turn.
This "full" turn is actually too much,turning as far as I can with a stationary head, eyes on the ball, is plenty.
