Hello Guys,
I don't do this very often...post...but I wanted to say one thing about the Greensboro, NC workshop/seminar at Carolina Golf Academy. I can guarantee you that if you attend you will leave with a wealth of information that will make you a better player and a better teacher than you were when you arrived. That goes for everyone...no matter what your skill level...with respect to teaching or playing. And you will meet some great guys! You know that Lynn has accumulated a wealth of information and can deliver it in a way that no other can...did I say accumulate...I did...and he has loaded this information and has stored it and now he is ready to deliver into a full scale release in Greensboro. Come join us!:) |
Nothing Could be Finer than to be in Carolina with Yoda
Yoda,
How was the The Carolina's PGA Section Presentation received? Lots of great stuff in the works I suspect. Wish I could have been there. |

Our Carolinas PGA Alignment Golf Workshop was a real success. We took bunches of photos, but I don't have'em yet. They'll be up soon. The big news is that this workshop (and completion of its 63-page Workbook) served as Level One (Associate) training in the new Lynn Blake Certified Instructor Program and its four levels: Lynn Blake Certified Associate Lynn Blake Certified Instructor Lynn Blake Certified Senior Instructor Lynn Blake Certified Master Instructor. In addition to the professional designations, there is also a progressive Certified Amateur status for those who would pursue a rigorous course of study and training in advanced Golf Stroke Mechanics. The two curriculum diverge at Level Three: The Instructor emphasis is on the Variations he will encounter as he serves ALL students. The Amateur emphasis -- as is the PGA TOUR Player -- is on his own Stroke and Game . . . the Player curriculum. We had a great time over the two days in Greensboro, NC. The Carolinas PGA Section is the largest in the United States (in fact, the world). At the close, 33 professionals and three visiting amateurs earned status and joined us as Certified Associates. Soon, the Associate training will be on-line (as the 'at your own pace' alternative to our intensive two-day workshop). Next is the four-day 'hands-on' Certified Instructor Training at our new $400,000 Lynn Blake Golf Performance Center at The Golf Club at Cuscowilla in Eatonton, Georgia (90 miles east of Atlanta). I'm proud to say our new Associates include the: Carolinas Professional of the Year. Carolinas Teacher of the Year. Carolinas Player of the Year. Also: Two former Carolinas Section Professional Champions. The former North Carolina Open Champion. The current South Carolina Open Champion. Two Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers. The men’s golf coach at the University of Wisconsin (and teacher of two PGA TOUR professionals whose names you would know). Two Top-20 qualifiers in the PGA of America’s National Championship and competitors in the PGA Championship (at Oakland Hills and Sahalee). Several TGM GSEBs and GSEMs. A number of these new Associates are already my longer-term students. The remaining are my new friends in Golf. And so, we're off. A simple mission, first Homer Kelley's, and now my own: Get the correct information into the hands of the golfing public around the world. We're not for everybody. I know that. Ne'er the less, there are tens of millions of golfers who will embrace our message, and it will take hundreds of us, indeed thousands of us, to get the job done. The road ahead is now clear to me, and we have taken the first step. The Journey has begun. :3gears: P.S. If you want to join me in this mission, or if you just want to become one of the most knowledgeable individuals on the planet regarding Golf Stroke Mechanics, please send your email to lynn@lynnblakegolf.com. |

Just think how many people that is going to have an impact on. How many lessons, how many junior golfers. How many of these teachers assistants who are going to learn from them, and start teaching LBG themselves... WOW! 34 guys that blew by me! (and they were probably ahead to begin with.) Let's get cracking, I need to catch up to that first 34, and blow by the other 2 boneheads :laughing9 :) :salut: :golfcart: Kevin |
