Nice! Love the stability in the right leg angle and the powerful windup.

hg,
Thanks for your help and work!

Mike O the swing looks great however it may be non automatic but can you explain why you backstroke is so slow and deliberate. As a swinger can you actually load the shaft like that. Appreciate your comments regarding it.

Good questions!

Question #1- why so slow and deliberate? We'll it's not a perfect world and as I correct problem areas in my swing - over swinging etc.- it just happened to be the avenue that corrected the most problems the easiest for me. (Who knows - may not look like that next year!)

Question #2-As a swinger can you actually load the shaft like that? No, not at the top/end of the backswing- but downstroke loading YES. At least that's how I would describe it in my movement.

The reason I thought those were good questions is that - I would agree that the backswing is bordering on or is unusually slow- compared to the majority. So while solid- the pace of the backswing does "catch your eye"- at least mine and looks like yours also.

It's a process - so while the slow backswing eliminates alot of issues for me- over time I may find that those issues are gone and the slow backswing causes it's own problem(s) and then at that time I'll speed it up - without having all the old issues from the past. However, as I've right now I'm hitting the ball so well I don't see that happening- only time will tell though.

Thanks for the reply. Glad you thought they were good questions. I know The scots pro who won the British open Paul Lawrie had a very similar backstroke. Not sure if he still does as he is well down the rankings and rarely gets T.V coverage. Only picking at straws as the swing as a whole is awesome with waht looks like very good impact alignments something i don't have. I have managed to play with a bent left wrist through impact and get to 5.3. Hopefully next year with the help of the Gallery i will get down lower.

Paul Lawrie still has that slow and deliberate backswing. I saw him on tv not so long ago and I have to admit its slower than when he won the Open in 99. I think I read somewhere that he and his coach (Adam Hunter I think) are working on speeding it up a bit.
