Adam and Tiger
Sorry if this has been posted before but youve gotta love this clip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZecVi...elated&search= Just look how powerfully they drive their legs and those finish swivels .. if only .. Adams left leg almost appears to 'pop' at the end there he's throwing so much power into it as it posts up:salut: |
Swingers
Both appear to be Swingers. Probably Delayed Hip Turns, and Rotated Shoulder Turns. Good players, with good swings.
It's debatable whether the top portions of both of their spines should be positioned as they both do. Their HEADS are both quite UP, and they both reposition their heads and upper spines dramatically on the downswings, possibly in order to get a better visual fix on the ball. Mr. Skywalker has written some about this, I believe. |
Did anyone catch the Dunlop tourney from Japan last night on TGC?
The Japaneese cameras had some incredible slow motion footage of Tiger hitting irons off the fairway. The hands ahead/lag/divot -- unbelievable. They also had slow motion of just the hands on the downswing through impact. American network camera work pales in comparison. |
Eastern TV

Yes, I saw some of the coverage. I hope someone recorded some of those swings. The Acumulator Lag, Flat Left Wrist, etc., was very obvious with the slow motion replays. |
Someone did! - and what drag/flat left wrist!

Tiger's Classic Follow-Through Alignments
Quote:
Pause the action at the end of the Follow-Through (the Both Arms Straight position) and note his alignments: Left Wrist Flat and executing its Horizontal Hinge Action. Right Wrist Bent. Clubshaft pointing at the Straight Plane Line. Classic. And just how do you produce these alignments in your own Stroke? Do as Tiger is doing: Drag your 'wet mop' through Impact! [7-19] Oh, one more thing... Check out Tiger's strong Finish Swivel as he 'bridges' from Follow-Through to Finish. It just doesn't get any better than this! |
More or less the positions Yoda is talking about...

Fredrik (across the world to Sweden)... You guys are good! Your 'lines' are drawn with precision and render the true geometric alignments unmistakeable. Especially the Bent Right Wrist at Follow-Through with the Clubshaft still pointing at the Plane Line. Ninety-nine percent of you guys -- that would be 99% -- are not doing this. Instead, your Clubshaft is pointing inside the Plane Line and thus Under Plane! Bagger/Bambam... To The Gallery! This is Homer Kelley's The Golfing Machine. Per 12-5-0-9/10/11: -- On Line Uncocking;Through Impact... This is exactly what Basic Motion is all about. In Release and through Impact... This is exactly what Acquired Motion is all about. And into the Finish... This is exactly what Total Motion is all about. I love it. This is exactly what we teach at Lynn Blake Golf. BTW... Extensor Action, anyone? :) |
Great work Fredrik. Thank you.

Glad you liked the footage :) the drag on the club was the main reason i filmed the clip.
(my account as seemed to vanished, so i had to re-register) |
What's-his-name siad he liked Scott better at the top . . . Whachutalkin''bout Willis???
There is NO DOUBT that Eldrick is Drag Loading that sucker . . . that Clubshaft was Loaded for Bear man! Scott looked "more in control at the top" . . . please. Tiger loaded that 2x4 shaft of his up stronger than a garlic milkshake. The inertia of the clubhead about snapped the freakin' shaft. Then the lag comment . . . accumulator lag . . . But Eldrick has more CLUBHEAD LAG than Scott without question. You can just see him Loading #2 . . . AWESOME! |
