The Buick

Some wonderful motions on the board today. Tjarrt's swing is one that I certainly appreciate, as well as Putnam. Wonderful!

Congrats to Faxon! A heck of a round =D>

Ya that Tjarrt guy had a nice swing I thought.

The analyses of the Slo-Mo Swingvision vids needs big time help tho. Soooooooooooo many better things that Kostis could have talked about. He said nothing useful or worthwhile saying IMO.

Does anybody know what hinge action Faxon uses when putting? He sure can roll the rock as well as anybody ever has. :?:

And what about Roberts?? His putting is as smooth as silk. He appears to use vertical hinging.

Agree with birdie man---Peter Kostis takes these SwingVision sequences and says "look at the club coming straight through impact" while the image on the screen clearly shows the club impacting the ball just slightly open, ball separation with the club square, and the club slightly closing after separation. It reminds me of Dave Pelz showing Tiger's putting stroke and saying it's straight back and straight through while the footage shows the toe slightly opening going back, square at impact, and slightly closing after impact. I guess if the facts don't conform to your hypothesis, dispose of the facts. Dave

Kostis...

Well said, dcg...as far as Kostis is concerned, consider the source.
