Welcome to the "Delivery Path California!"

With apologies to the Eagles and, hm, everyone...

"On a green verdant driving range, warm wind in my hair
Cool sense of golf mechanics rising above my golfer's despair
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a warm yellow light
My head grew peaceful and my vision was trim
I knew someone had it right...

There he stood in the doorway
And he began to tell
You must think for yourself
You must learn human geometry well
Then he pulled out his plane board and he showed me the way
There were approving voices in the practice bays
I thought I heard them say...

Welcome to Delivery Path California
it's a lovely golf club shaft
such a lovely club face
We're lowering our scores in Delivery Path California
The plane line doesn't lie, make no alibis...

His mind isn't twisted
He might drive a Mercedes-Benz
He has lots of excellent students that he calls friends
All play and remember
All concentrate not to forget...

So I ordered the Alignment dvd's
Making sure I take my time
We have that spirit in the LBG forums on each line
And still those approving voices in the practice bays
Repeat in the middle of morning, noon , and night
I like hearing what they say...

Mirrors at the practice bays
Laser and snap device
Yoda said we are never free without being geometrically precise
In Yoda's school
We gathered to perceive
The three imperatives and hinges
Hitting golf balls of countless sleeves...

I was struggling to remember
While pretending to push my club against a door
I had to test my wedges
I had to keep them solid as they were before
Relax said Yoda
We are programmed with delivery path to perceive
You can check it out anytime you like
The Delivery Path you must never leave..."

Thanks!

I think everyone is really busy this time of year, GP, and maybe it's not a big Eagles group! The more I work with something, the deeper it goes. "Delivery Path California" is a good swing thought for me!

wow, you must have a lot of free time.

Patrick teaches middle schoolers. There is no free time in that trade. I'm thinking he probably excapes into LBG forums as soon as he gets home.
By the way, Patrick, did you flatten the lies of your clubs?

Now Joe, let's be kind!

I have been assaulted twice in the last two days at school by fifth graders. Earlier this year, a special student lit a girl's hair on fire. The other day, a boy hurled for 20 minutes without stopping. And now the weather will turn a young man's fancy to violence and sex. Since the freeze ended 2 weeks ago, I have lost 15 lbs. through "quick response" aerobics.

It's not boredom, Joe, it's sanctuary and serenity. I choose to be happy in being funny, golfing, and being creative within my gifts. :)

I'm sure you're good at things you enjoy! :laughing9

Flying with the Eagles

As an Eagles fan, I appreciated that  . Very creative. Maybe next you can re-write Desparado.

"Flipparado, why don't you come to your senses

"Flipparado, why don't you come to your senses
You been out breaking plane lines
for so long now
Ohh you're a wobbly one
We know you have your reasons
Theses things in golf magazines
Don't really pass for TGM knowhow

Don't forget to trace the infinite plane-line boy
It'll save you it's no fable
You know club path hands are always your best friend
Now it seems to me your right forearm
'n club must be laid upon a table
But without a real pivot
You can't swing or hit

Flipperrado
Ohhh your not getting straighter
Your busted flying wedges
Are driving your handicap higher
And short game oh short game
That's feel without mechanics talking
Your prison is leaving the sweet spot all alone

Don't your hands get sore in the practice round
The PRO V1 won't fly and the hole you won't find
It's hard not to be a hacker the way you play
And your losing all the rounds you play
Ain't it funny how the fun of this great game
Goes away

Flipperado,
Why don't you come to your senses
Come away from unbalanced fixes, TGM's the book
You might be sad, but there are real teachers around you
You'd better let GSEB's/GSEM's/GSED's show you
(Let them show and teach you)
You'd better let TGM teach you
Before it's too late"

Jerry is correct, I do this as soon as I'm done at the range and after my lovely wifey makes dinner and the dishes are put away.

Now, to read about Sean's first lesson with cool and talented DREW! :)

Very, very good! As I said before, you should become a lyricist Patrick. :-)

Patrick,

I love your lyrics!

I've been wanting to do "Cuscawillo by Morning" but I'm not clever enough. Take a stab at it!
