Golf instruktører i Norge med kjennskap til TGM?

Hei!

Noen som kjenner til golf instruktører i Norge som har kjennskap/bakgrunn fra The Golf Machine?

Anyone knows about instructors in Norway who has knowledge of The Golf Machine?

Best Regards
Kim

Hmm. None on this list: http://thegolfingmachine.com/aieu.htm

May be a few TGMers from Norway registered here. Maybe BerntR is from Norway, but I am not sure. A PM to him might give you names.

Not what you are asking for but I've been to Henning (GSEM) in Sweden and he is good. His place is about 40 km north from Göteborg so if you are in Oslo it may be a reasonable trip. If not a PM to him might result in some names in Norway.

Jeg er fra Norge, men er nok bare en glad amatør innen "golf-faget"

mvh,

Bernt

Henning Lundstrom is terrific, both as a player and teacher. He has paid the price -- in time, energy and money -- to join the ranks of the world's most knowledgeable Authorized Instructors of The Golfing Machine.I recommend him without reservation.

I second that opinion.

Wanted to save this little story until I could back it up with some scoring over 18 holes, but this is the right time:

I went to see Henning last week. On my side I knew what I was looking for but not which component to tweak with: I knew my hands took the right path. I had eliminated my swaying and bobbing and incorporated a right forearm pickup. The tripod was in good shape. But: the shaft was off plane.

We met up. Kicked off the TGM lingo. We were able to communicate straight from the book. Talking matters of TRUTH.

Need I say we had a blast?

It took 2 swings. It took 1 minute.

...until he got my flying wedges in shape.

I experienced hitting balls with compression and trajectory like never before. An entirely new feel. To me a perfect example of mechanics producing and feel reproducing. We recorded a couple of swings. I almost could not believe it was me. Let's be serious: I still have flaws, but the basics of what I wanted to establish was all there. All there. How great!

I still need to fully incorporate this experience. Also work substantially on throwaway and shoulder plane, but I will say this:

There is no substitute for studying TGM and seeing an AI as good as Henning. Only wish his place was not 5 hours driving from where I live.

For me it is a matter of getting the time in to working on a few more things, and this is just a segment of the full story. Once I can spare that time to practice, take the results to the course and produce a score I will write a longer story. Incorporating Destin, lessons with Henning, my own studies. The works. That's for later.

But finally:

The journey to improvement is the greatest of all.

How right you are, Metallion. Another golfer of some repute felt the same way:

"I know that thousands of golfers console themselves with the game's being an avenue to exercise and companionship -- which is wonderful -- but every golfer, at the bottom of his heart, wants to play the game relatively well. To do that takes some application, some thought, some effort, but the golfer who goes about this wisely will play good golf and should go on to enjoy his golf increasingly the rest of his life. The greatest pleasure is otained by improving."
