Printing

When I print topic, the right margin cuts off about 1" short.
I bought a new computer with a 17" flat screem. I have tried all
the resolutions from 800X600 through 1280 X 1024. Get the same
results with all resolutions. Anybody got any suggestions.

Thanks, Donn Kerby

Your printer setup probably needs to be adjusted. Usually under 'page setup' in the printer properties there is a setting for 'size to page', or to decrease by a set percentage until it fits (this may depend on your printer/software being used).

Check - from the start menu goto 'settings' and then printers

right click on the printer you are using and select 'properties'

alternately, when you select 'print' or 'print preview' you should have a page setup tab

the screen size and print size are independent of each other

Ed, Great to hear from you. Have been following you posts. Very
good. I reduced the Page size to 80% and used .25 for both the
left and right margins and tried scaled to fit and also not scaled to
fit. I get the same results. The first and 2nd line of your message
cuts off way short. I guess when you print the text, it all fits? Will
keep trying. Thanks again, Donn

Tried printing on another computer at a different location. Same results.
When I tried to print the article, the longer lines were cut off short.
Did find a way to print the full article. Go to printer preferences and
select legal paper and landscape. Of course, you will need legal paper
and the printing will come out with the paper sideways. Its like a swing
flaw with a bandaid fix. The Web provider to Lynn Blake should fix
the problem.

Print Issues

The Web Provider is on board...

There are print issues associated with the forum software that is in use at this site. There are add-on modules that provide some print features that may resolve your issue but I'm going to request your patience.

We will be migrating to a new forum package very soon which is much more flexible and supported by the authors of the forum package. We are very close. The new package is installed and has been running for several months now. Stay tuned to this area of the board for information on the cutover.

Thanks,

Bagger
