Swing rite
 

The swing rite has been mentioned as a better alternative to the swing setter. Is it really effective in increasing clubhead speed? Would it work for both the hitter and the swinger? Does it have the feel of a real club? Any particular comments worth noting about its useage.

The main benefit of this particular aid is learning clubHEAD control, and to a smaller degree better clubSHAFT control that can result. It can also help with timing for those wanting to move to a snap release.

I have both and prefer the swing rite which is adjustable so you can increase clubhead speed. I agree you can listen to the sound the club makes but the swing rite aids shows exactly where you reach maximum speed. I didn't like swing setter for reasons outlined in other others on this site. It promotes early wrist cock (forceful to get ball to click) and other than that it does very little for the price tag.

Best things I have purchased to work on swing have been impact bag, and tac tic. I use both religiously. I do like the speed stik for helping me feel lag pressure and building up speed but you can also do that with a heavy club (which I also have).

I have more golf gizmos than you can shake a club at and I get bored with most in a week or so (except impact bag and tac tic).
