golf in Tennessee y'all
Looking to play somewhere between Nashville,TN and Bowling Green, KY...any recomendations?
|
If you don't mind traveling 30 minutes south of Nashville to Murfreesboro, there is a nice coarse called Old Fort Golf Coarse. It has held several first round Q- School tournaments, High School State Championships, Qualifier for the Bell South Senior Tournament, etc. The pros and staff are very friendly and helpful. The coarse was rebuilt 3 years ago and it is even better than before. If you are wanting to play in the near future, the greens were aereated 2-3 weeks ago and we have not had very good weather since then. You can reach them at 615 849-2624, ask for Marty McCurry.
Jim S. p.s. Would you need a fourth? |

I'm planning to meet my playing partner during Masters weekend (Sat. & Sun.) somewhere approximately 1/2 way between Indy and Atlanta. If we played this course it would be on Saturday, and we'd most likely play somewhere further north on Sunday. |
Old Fort takes reservations for tee times 5 days in advance. If it would be convient for you and you decide that you would like to play there, I would be more than happy to get your tee time for you. If you wanted, I would be happy to join you and bring a fourth. I will check and make sure that they don't have any tournaments planned for that day.
