Lag Pressure Drills . . . Hmm . . .

Screwing around chipping balls around my house . . . chipping into chairs . . . breaking stuff.

Everybody pretty much knows the #3 Pressure Point drill ala Hogan: Take your right thumb off the club and hit balls. I like to do this one one-handed too.

But how about Bucket's Left Handed version . . .

Hit some left handed chips BUT take your LEFT FOREFANGER (finger for those north of the M-D Line) off the grip. You can really feel the #2 Pressure Point and the uncocking motion and support of the LEFT THUMB.

I have experimented with taking off the right thumb AND left forefinger at the same time. With the left forefinger and right thumb off, you can REALLY feel how the #2, #1 and #3 Pressure Points are BEHIND the shaft SUPPORTING the shaft and driving the club through impact. If you throw it . . . . you'll know it.

But..

Can you chip with left hand only and not cock the left wrist?

Now do it with Horizontal Hinging and get it up on that sofa cushion. With a Nine Iron.

60 degree wedge off a hardwood floor into the kitchen sink.

(Just Kidding)
