How to alter ball flight when hitting...

ok, been working hard on my hitting motion and I know I have things going fairly well. Getting the typical fade ball flight of an angled hinge and impact feels very heavy, sometimes I literally feel like my arm wants to move back or give at impact instead of going right through the ball because of the force of the compression. Kind of like playing tennis when you get a hard shot hit at you and you feel your racket and arm give some due to the force of impact.

Anyway, when hitting vs. swinging, my ball flight is typically a little lower and seems to run more. If I play the ball more forward to increase trajectory, it increases the amount of fade I get. How to other hitters handle adjusting trajectory??
