Took my son to the last game of the year last Sunday- sat in the bleachers section 41. WHAT A BLAST !! It was like being in a movie- what a great section of fans. Loud and fiercely loyal. Every Yankee acknowledged us from the field. My son ( a Cano fan) couldn't stop smiling. Not the best view but everyone needs to do a game from the ten dollar seats once a year at least.

Der- ek Je-ter !!! :salut: my captain. :salut:

I guess inflation is real! I remember sitting in Forbes Field, behind the screen in right field, watching the greatest player I have ever seen, Roberto Clemente----for $1. Then again, these days a $10 seat in ANY sporting event is cheap. And I'll bet your son is still smiling!

OK, I was going to talk a little trash, but it's been so long since the last time the tigers showed any signs of life ('84) I've forgotten how!

I hurt.

I Like To Tell People When The Final History Is Written On the Yankees, these past few years Will Look Like Just A Comma. :laughing9

But I hurt.

If it makes you feel any better (and it probably doesn't), there were a LOT of tiger fans in those stands who had many a year's worth of pain and suffering erased tonight; I really wish I could have been there. Regardless of what they do from here, The old english D is alive and well in Detroit tonight.

It was just 3 years ago that we lost 119 games and finished 43 games back, and we've only had two .500+ seasons since 1988...amazing turn around this year.

Nice one Drew. I guess If I dish it out, I have to take it:liar:

Yanks lack Pitching, which puts more pressure on their line up. Regular season is one thing, now add that Playoff pressure.

Putting Sheff at first base was a misstake as well. Off season will be interesting.

Detroit could go all the way. Their pitching was impressive!!!.
