Over the top fix.

I am a swinger and have been studing tgm for a year now and have improved quite a bit, but I still have a tendency to come over the top and pull the ball. One thought that has helped some is trying to keep my back to the target alittle longer but I still will pull the ball left 5 or 6 times a round. Any sugestions would help.

Play the pull

How about trying to drop your right foot back and play your pull. See the Hogan home video in the gallery and you will see how extremely closed his stance line is. It seemed to work for him.

Ok guessing game ...Are you trying to hit the ball with a square clubface with an in-to-in clubhead orbit at impact point ?

I believe so.

I believe so, which leads to the clubface close (or facing the left) at separation.

one thing needed is to practice the downswing waggle alot. another suggestion that may be scorned by others is to make a lateral movement from the top of the swing with your body at the ball. this seems to get me in the right place every time and becomes more of a body controlled pivot instead of a hands one. Just a suggestion.
