Make a loop in a length of string so that it will slip over your left shoulder. Pull the string tight and grip it with you left hand as you hold your club.

With the added down and outward pressure that your right hand places on your left thumb you should be able to make a back swing that keeps the string tight right up to the end.

Practise, slowly at first, until keeping the string taut becomes second nature, then dump the string and enjoy your extensor action.

IMHO ,a bungee cord is better-only because you can keep it taught on the follow through as well;)

Neil,

I am sure that with your level of creativity you can come up with a better use for bungee cords.

I understand that you can buy "Bucket proofed" versions in all good hardware stores, so put your mind to this project and report back.:evil5:
