Watching the clubhead
I have been working on feeling lag with the clubhead (sweetspot?) and keeping a flat left wrist through impact. When I played last Friday, I focused on watching the blur of the clubhead come into the ball on the downswing. When I did it right, it seemed to help me keep clubhead lag longer and keep from flipping; and I was making a divot after hitting the ball like I am supposed to. My question: is this a good, or reasonable, way to work on lagging the clubhead? On Friday, I was hitting the ball very straight off the tee, 11 of 14 fairways, and two of the three I missed were right off the edge of the fairway. One problem though was that I was losing some distance. Any advice fellows?
