Racquet drils

I'd noticed the pics of people doing these drills on the Pine Needles pics. What is the drill?

I would like to know that too.
And rubberband drills? What is that?

Racket drill 1
The one I tried in Destin was to practice right forearm pickup. Take the racket in your right hand and setup @ address. Racket blade vertical.

Now do the right forearm pickup & make sure that the racket blade is on plane on top. Gives a good indication. Most are off plane by a lot the first time they try it.

Then bring it down to impact and make sure the blade is vertical.

More or less, but maybe not a spot-on description.

I have seen a vid somewhere. Guess it was at Chuck's forum?

Rubberband drill
Not sure, but I beleive it is standing on a long rubberband with the left foot, rubber band in right hand. Then pushing the rubberband away in the (single-handed) right hand backswing/right forearm pickup. Provides a feel for extensor action.

I tried one with a short rubberband entangling the hands. Then practicing right forearm pickup with extensor action. Keeping the left arm relaxed and straight. Was ok.

Now someone pls tell the truth. :D
