All Top Spin Lindsay Putters....very interesting stuff

I came across this website while looking for high speed impact photos for a different debate.

www.lindsayputters.com

LOTS of really cool information on his site and even some neat testing on how to test for backspin. Seems to make sense too because they were using a Yes! Golf C-Groove putter and it showed that the putter did what it claims by eliminating skid faster and creating a better roll faster.

If you look on the site you'll see that the backspin it creates initially is A LOT LESS than the Odyssey 2 ball.

During his testing if hit perfectly on the sweet spot it did creat positive overspin.

I have emailed the guy a little bit and he fowarded me a video that will be put on the website soon and with his permission he said i can show it to other people:

Interesting stuff, let me know what you think.

Interesting.

I didn't see any putter models or prices on the site.

Anybody know anybody who has used one?

he only has that one style putter head and he makes it in either face-balanced or a nuetral balanced model.

He said you can custom order it for lie anlge and length.

He also said for US pricing, its about $175 plus about $48 in shipping.

Much like the concept of the Aserta putters.

Overspin. Homer agrees. Haven't tried 'em yet though but I'm curious now.

no....aserta putters puts the mass high to create overspin. Whether they create it or not i dont know.

Whoa that is pretty cool. I don't understand how it gives topspin...but ok! It does!

I've not had any success with centre shafted putters tho...

I have Been playing a lopaka cylindrical putter with the same diameter as the ball hitting the ball at or above the equator giving it a tiny bit of overspin I won't go back to a lofted putter
