Thanks Yoda

I am just posting to say what an amazing experience I had this weekend with an amazing individual and teacher. I have never had the confidence to "pull" off different shots during a tournament. Now I have the confidence to work the ball as well as have the luxury of inner confidence knowing if I follow my routine a good shot will follow! My Dad wants to thank you as well. We will look forward to a long relationship in golf. Thanks again and good luck- we will keep in touch.

Collin just put up his first post (in the Swinger's Emergency Room) detailing how he now hits a Fade. I responded to that post and, just so you won't miss it, here it is:

"Now, I've got to let everybody in on our little secret...

Collin (age 18 ) and his Dad, Cal, just spent two days in The Swamp. And let ol' Yoda tell you something: This young man can flat bust that Ball. He can 'golf' it, too: He recently was named the #1 High School Golfer in St. Louis. Not surprisingly, he is also the youngest entrant in the St. Louis U.S. Open qualifier next week.

Good luck, Collin!"

Remember the name:

Collin Neeman.

Collin,

Best wishes in your upcoming qualifier--we will be pulling for you and let us know how it goes. Just curious----how did you come to hear about TGM, Yoda, etc. ?
As someone who spent 9 years of my life in the St. Louis area (on the Illinois side) I not only miss the great courses in that area, I REALLY miss Ted Drewes Frozen Custard!! ( My cholesterol doesn't miss it!)
Have fun and play well. Dr Dave

well i just got home from practicing putting  what i thought use to be my strong point wasnt really strong for me but i shot a 84 at the qualifier with 7 three putts  i couldnt believe it either but the plus side is that the people i was playing with asked how do you hit the ball so well and i told them the golf machine and yoda i think they said the greens were rolling a 12 on the meter i havent really putted on those fast of greens and they were hard greens to i am used to flying it to the pin and stopping but i have to tell you this i couldnt believe how well i was driving the ball but i still couldnt believe the greens  i never three but and i had 7 but i cant wait for the next tournament to come around i think i will be able to trust the swing a lot more and there is no way i will putt this bad again

"Everybody who had a rough day the first time they ran into slick tricky greens, raise their hand."
(Entire forum raises their hand.)

Major congratulations on competing in your first qualifier. Continue to dare greatly! :)
