It doesn't have to be much...as Mr. Kelley says, "it is like a fly bending a rail". IMO, most golfers never sense this because they Over-Accelerate at Start Down and the clubhead moves at a rate they can't maitain. The Clubhead goes very fast, but not for very long and you think your Hands can keep up with it, but they can't. And those that think they don't do it, probably do. Ben Hogan always felt that he reaced peak velocity three feet past the ball. How many golfers can say that?
