Isn't there still supposed to be a certain amount of rotation? It's not much, but I think it depends on the length of your backstroke. But, in my limited experience, I must rotate at least a little or my clubface won't get to where it needs to be. I think you just let your educated hands move the pivot?

Take all this with a grain of salt, because in the world of TGM I am more than a newbie.

Hands Controlled Pivot
Your focus should be on your hands and if your body moves that is fine. Your hands move and your body is moved, there is a difference. Depending on the length of the shot your pivot should be minimal for your short game. Remember to employ extensor action and you'll be on your way to golfing nirvana.
