If you need more information about the error message "C00D1199: Cannot play the file" goto http://msmvps.com/blogs/chrisl/articles/14322.aspx

this method works for me, thanks Lefty44

Did you "save target as" and then play with media version 6.2? The issue that I am having is that when I "save target as", the saved WMV files are only around 5 MB. I can play the files but they are not full length.

Yes, I right-click on the video-file, and "save target as". Then I open the player and paste the video-file into "open", I then have to enter my forum name and code twice, but then the videos will play full lenght and all.

I made a change on the server; you folks who were having trouble with the videos (save target as or playing directly) please try again and let us know if things are working now.

Many thanks
You are a star BamBam. Now they download correctly.
Can I suggest that future videos have the file size listed so we know if we have downloaded the full file.
Thanks again

Cheers, it works now! It's also now possible to rewind/fastfoward through the vid.
