Work the absolute hell out of your short game! It takes a shag bag, access to a green (not mandatory), and time.

Suppose thats what I will have to do! Not the bestest driver of the golf ball but my irons are pretty good, if I cant get a coach im going to have to get my short game so so good that it can make me shoot under par!

Your short game needs to be "off the charts" even if you do get a coach! There is an academy near here that has one of the finest junior programs in the area with kids that have gone on to do great things in AJGA events, college and profesionally. The emphasis they place on short game work there is hard to imagine (especially for those of us that prefer to work on the full swing). I assure you they know what they're doing.

You understand the hinges so you're well on your way. I can still see John Reigger using a basic motion and absolutely creating a pile of balls about 30 yards out. Yoda does the same thing in his video out of the bunker (Lynn of Arabia). Those basic and acquired motions CAN be understood thru the use of the book and this website.
