Good questions!
Question #1- why so slow and deliberate? We'll it's not a perfect world and as I correct problem areas in my swing - over swinging etc.- it just happened to be the avenue that corrected the most problems the easiest for me. (Who knows - may not look like that next year!)
Question #2-As a swinger can you actually load the shaft like that? No, not at the top/end of the backswing- but downstroke loading YES. At least that's how I would describe it in my movement.
The reason I thought those were good questions is that - I would agree that the backswing is bordering on or
is unusually slow- compared to the majority. So while solid- the pace of the backswing does "catch your eye"- at least mine and looks like yours also.
It's a process - so while the slow backswing eliminates alot of issues for me- over time I may find that those issues are gone and the slow backswing causes it's own problem(s) and then at that time I'll speed it up - without having all the old issues from the past. However, as I've right now I'm hitting the ball so well I don't see that happening- only time will tell though.
