Thanks for the reply. Glad you thought they were good questions. I know The scots pro who won the British open Paul Lawrie had a very similar backstroke. Not sure if he still does as he is well down the rankings and rarely gets T.V coverage. Only picking at straws as the swing as a whole is awesome with waht looks like very good impact alignments something i don't have. I have managed to play with a bent left wrist through impact and get to 5.3. Hopefully next year with the help of the Gallery i will get down lower.

Paul Lawrie still has that slow and deliberate backswing. I saw him on tv not so long ago and I have to admit its slower than when he won the Open in 99. I think I read somewhere that he and his coach (Adam Hunter I think) are working on speeding it up a bit.
