My use of the word “imitation” is limited to mean that his hands arrive at impact as though the alignments of Zone 1 would aid them to. His hands arrive aligned at Impact regardless of Zone 1.

Pivot Lag: Leave the Hands at the Top. Lead the Downstroke Shoulder Turn with Hip Turn. Try to not let the Shoulders catch up.
