Me too! Just what I needed to dial out my overactive lower body... He seems like such a nice fellow too...

He clearly was a positive force, brimming over with good will and sincere enthusiasm for the game. Yoda seems cut from the same cloth. No wonder they were such good friends.
I really enjoyed Tomasello simple swing
mechanics in his free videos section here...
But I read in another post where you advocated
that the pivot starts the start down motion not
the arms down as Tom suggests......
Which is correct???
thanks,
Jim
I'm a wee bit stuck here too. He seems to say the right hip stays back and the wrists uncock down and out. If the right hip stays back then this seems to be a delay of centrifugal force making this a non-swinging procedure. Then we look at 2-PCentrfigual Force alone Uncocks the Swinger's Wrist's, but Right Arm Thrust during Release is the Hitter's procedure. My understanding of Hitting is a simultaneous uncocking and rolling......This whole deal has me in the fog with no lights on

Augusta...
When you see Tommy swing at full speed do you see a delayed right hip. I would go back and watch the whole "Chapter" series....I have been watching Tommy's "Chapter" series video for approximately 15 years...and I watched it a few hundred times before I could say I haven't learned anything new from this video. For the LBG audience, it's 9 seperate videos. BTW, Tommy gave me the full un-edited video as I left his Myrtle Beach studio on Friday October 22nd 1993. I'm really glad it's had a positive impact on the G.O.L.F community.
With Tommy's videos ya got to seperate drill recommendations from the final product...of all the videos I've seen of Tommy....he was always coming up with a drill to help the golfer feel and see the correct alignment and/or motion. Tommy was the drill master.

I'm not saying anything negative about the man or method, just saying it caused some confusion based on one viewing.
