Great job Lynn! I'd expect nothing less!! Clear, concise, and helpful to TGMers and non TGMers alike. Especially liked the tip at the end; the description of the importance of extensor action through the use of the belt was great. I know everyone here will bombard The Golf Channel for you. Thanks for all you do!
Watching the Golf Channel over the years I have learned that what you know is not nearly as important as how you present yourself. It's all about charisma, personality and looks. Ever listen to Nick Faldo analyze someones swing? Ever watch Michael Breed put a blow up ducky life preserver around his chest and go on to explain the importance of "staying connected"? I can go on and on. It is my opinion that the majority of golf channel viewers want to be entertained with a quick fix and would get bored quickly by an explanation that is too technical. Yoda has more knowledge about the golf swing in his thumbnail than all the Michael Breeds and Nick Faldos of this world combined but his vast knowledge is IMH opinion not what the Golf Channel is looking for. They want a more cotton candy type of approach to teaching and I don't think Yoda would look good with a duck around his chest. Besides, if he gets the job then what will techno nerds like us do for a fix
Having said that I sure wouldn't mind seeing Yoda on the golf channel with that duck around his chest
No one could say what YODA said in the amount of time he had to say it.....and it was persented beautifully. Great job Lynn! Rick
Lynn,Best of luck in your continuing pursuit of getting the correct information out to the golfing public. A higher tribute cannot be paid to Homer Kelley and his life's work.
To all,Yoda is even better live. His energy and entusiasm cannot be fully captured on video.
Rick, I enjoyed your video entry, as well. Your comments about Yoda's entry can be applied to your entry.
Again, Best of luck to you both. The viewers have already received the benefit of your submissions.
