Two Two different Procedures are Illustrated below. Both are Labeled a Single Shift. Both use a Turned Shoulder Plane.

1. Technically, are both Single Shift?

2. Which Procedure do you use? The Difference is that the Left Illustration Turns the Shoulder first, then a Vertical arm raise. The Second Illustration Raises the Hands to Plane which pulls the Shoulders into a turn.
