Everyone,

Rob Noel, Tom Danos, Buzzy Brown, and me Chris Wertz are all OK after the storm. Our academy has suffered some damage and none of us have power in our homes. We probably will not for a while. Hopefully the cleaning up and rebuilding will happen asap, so we can try to get the academy up and running again. Our prayers are with all those who have lost loved ones and all their posessions.
Brian, I am sorry to hear about your home. I hope everything works out for you, we will keep you in our prayers. Keep us updated when you get a chance. Thanks to all those on the forum for your concern.

Glad to hear everyone is doing ok. My brother had left his Abita Springs home (adjacent to the golf course down the road from Money Hill) to go to Shreveport and is staying there for the time being. My sister's home in Covington has some minor damage--a minor miracle considering the number of trees that were downed in her neighborhood.

I was born and raised in New Orleans and this has been very hard for me to watch. At one point, we lived in a rental house with the infamous 17th Street canal in our backyard--about a mile away from the break.

I did get confirmation through RSG that David Laville did get out of town beforehand (he's in Alabama if I recall correctly).

Hi Brian and Family and all of you affected by the storm Katrina.

We here have dealt with a similar situation in the south of our country when the Tsunami hit the coastal areas of India. I have seen the wrath nature can unleash and i can tell you that its not easy to bear the consequences.

My heart goes out the people affected and my feelings and good wishes are with you all. We see on TV what devastation has been caused and sincerely hope and pray that things get back to normalcy and the mind heals soon to the emotional stress and damage caused.

Vikram

We are so far away in Australia but please remember that there are many of us here who are praying and sending our best wishes to Brian and his family as well as the thousands who have been affected by the recent devastation.
