Snap Crackle Fizzle Fa Shizzle

What is the SNAP in Snap Release? Is it #3 transferring the power of uncocking #2 getting the left wrist verical to the plane? Also with Sequenced Release should the left palm be facing the plane past the line of siight while uncocking and then the #3 hand motion begin past the line of sight?
