Impact Bag
Okay so I just punctured a hole in my down pillow and feathers are everywhere. I looked online and saw, basically, two impact bags. One is yellow (I forget who makes it) and one is by Izzo (about half the price of the other).

Can anyone recommend whether or not:

1. should I get one
2. is the Izzo poor quality
3. are there instructions on how best to utilize it (flat left wrist, bend right)

Thanks,

Michael

The answer is yes, yes and yes. An impact bag is something that everyone should have especially if you want to have have that flat left wrist and bent right wrist at impact!
I have the Izzo one and while its cheaper of the two bags that you mentioned, its good value for money. Go get it and use the money that you have saved to get some rackets and dowels
As for instructions, if you do a search on the forum there was a thread that Yoda had replied to that had detailed instructions on how to get the best usage out of the bag.
I use mines just about every day and hopefully it will translate into better golf next season.

Another Impact Bag
You might also look at the I-Swing Training Bag (Google it). It is slightly more expensive, but appears to be very well made (heavy duty canvas). I have one that I have not used extensively, but it doesn't look like I could wear it out easily. I may not swing as hard as some of you brutes, however

The Izzo works just fine. Mine was only about $18.00.

You can't beat the Izzo impact bag for the price. I purchased mine from tgw.com for $17 to $18.

The Natural Golf guy, Todd Graves, has a cool Red one on his web site for color specific types.
