I went out to hit a couple of balls in my yard today and made a conscious effort to maintain a level right wrist. It felt extremely awkward. I'm not really sure how much left wristcock I was able to achieve. I have to admit no matter how awkward it felt, impact felt much improved. I either hit into a net or the woods so I couldn't make any distance judgements. For those of you who have mastered this, how much of a struggle was it?

Replace the word awkward with different. If you want your ball to do something different, you have to do something...different.
If it doesn't feel different, quess what, you haven't made a change; same results will occur. Through correct repititions the different feeling will become yours. The keys is patience, practice and persistance.
