I was just watching Jim Thorpe on TV. He has won two tourney's this year.
Crazy swing and follow through but I bet the ball sizzles at contact. Homer
would have loved his aiming point down, down, down, and out hitting action.

Despite his balky putter, Jim Thorpe compiled an admirable record on the
'Flat Belly' Tour and is now making his mark on the 'Round Belly' Tour. As
evidenced by a number of high finishes in the U.S. Open, he tends to separate
himself from the field when the course set-up demands great ball-striking.
All this precision from a swing that not only wasn't 'pretty,' but which
inspired this great description from the late Dave Marr:
"Jim has a swing only a mother could love."
