Yo . . . What happened to the Titleist thing? Mike O scared you guys didn't he? Don't pay him no mind . . . just rub a little garlic behind your ears or tie a clove around your neck. He's all bark.

Naah, bucket, it had nothing to do with our good friend, Mike O. We removed the thread because there were a number of calls -- to us and to Titleist -- from pros around the world wanting in. But it was always a closed deal limited to those whose names I listed. I thought the announcement made that clear -- but apparently not -- so to avoid any further confusion and disappointment, it seemed best just to take it down. We'll put it back up after the fact in the "past schools and special events" forum.

Now, about that garlic and clove idea, is it USGA-compliant? I'm thinking of challenging Mike O to a putting rematch sometime soon and need every competitive advantage I can get!

I was a little worried myself, since I'm going to it. If it was cancelled, I was going to ! I guess it's a good thing when the calls become too overwhelming.
